Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - gold and blue

This is the first developed idea for the KCD2 cover art. It was made roughly three years before the release and never passed the stage of a developed sketch. The original idea was to use flat graphical elements with monochromatic illustration. Later, it was toned to a less eye-piercing image. From the beginning, the aim was to create something completely out of the ordinary, and I would still argue the thumbnail stands out quite a bit.
